The Basin City Elementary Media Center is open from 8:10 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Library classes are
taught from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. General checkout is available for students during their classrooms
scheduled library times and the following times:
8:10 a.m - 8:20 a.m (before school)
10:00 a.m - 10:15 a.m
11:15 a.m - 11:45 p.m (Assistant Librarians only, 4th - 6th Lunch Recess)
11:40 a.m - 12:10 p.m.
11:45 a.m. - 12:40 p.m. (Mondays)
11:45 a.m. - 12:10 p.m (Tuesdays - Fridays)
2:20 p.m - 2:30 p.m. (end of school)
2:30 p.m - 2:40 p.m (after school)
General checkout is available at other times during the day when the library does not have
classes or by special arrangement with the Media Specialist.
The Media Center will be closed at the following times:
8:00 a.m - 8:10 a.m (before school)
11:15 a.m - 11:45 p.m (except for Assistant Librarians)
3:40 p.m and later (after school)
In addition, the Media Center may be closed at other times for meetings or other purposes. When the
library is closed, the door(s) to the Library Media Center will not be open.
